I'll start off by saying that I am a big samsung fan. I have an S4 and the Note 10.1 2014 edition. But I do not like the gear fit.
I've had this product since the launch date, and I totally love the design and concept of a fitness band/smart watch combination. I was super excited to have one product that fit all of my wearable tech needs.
However, this band had one glaring error: it does not sync properly, as advertised, with S Health. It syncs with Fitness with Gear, a virtually useless app that does nothing more than display the data that can be seen on the Gear Fit. No editing, no comparing with calorie intake, just viewing. And none of this data gets incorporated into S Health. So, your food tracking and fitness information from the Gear will not be in the same app at all. This is very fruatrating.

Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not ready for the public, bad apps (there are 3 that you have to use), non-existent syncing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just purchased this to go along with my Note Edge. With the heart rate monitor and stress level monitor I like how they synch and work along with each other. I didn't need the product with the camera and the phone just too much for my needs.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

Although I read some so so reviews on CNET, I still purchased it and to try out and I absolutely fell in love with it. I like that it syncs well with my Samsung Note 4 and since I've been using it it has actually motivated me to eat better and exercise (moderately) compared to no exercise and not eating well. The colors are brilliant and it just works fine for receiving texts and when I get a call it just vibrates which is all I really need. Depending on future watch styles, I may upgrade in near future only because I loved this style and cannot wait to see future style and applications.

Very Comfortable and Well Designed

I haven't had this watch long but I did have both the original Gear and the gear 2 for a short time. While this watch can't do as much as those two, it is extremely comfortable to wear and gives me most of what I want. I really like the band on it too. I'm a little older so I may not utilize all the fitness stuff but I love the notifications and the overall design of this watch. With the other ones, it was always obvious to me I was wearing them (size and weight) but this one is much easier to forget you have it on. I'll be interested to see how I feel about it after about a week. I see no reason to think I'll change my mind about it.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, very comfortable to wear
Cons: probably a little over priced

The Gear Fit is perfect. It's very comfortable and I am not one who normally wears a watch. The notification vibrate feature is great. I've had it for almost a month and have had no issues at all.

I use my fit gear now mainly for the walking features. and heart rate monitor features.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: yhere is no keeper on the band., has opened on me several times.

Easy to use Fit Tracker

Simple to use and motivating! Wish that the hrt monitor worked through out a run but I like that I can still check in on it without having to wear a strap. Haven't had it long enough to figure out all the bells and whistles yet but I feel it will be worth the money I paid!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, easy set up
Cons: no gps capabilities

I LOVE this watch! This is my second one (lost my first one) I bought it mainly for the exercise tracking and heart rate moniter etc., but the email /text notifications and being able to send short responses back is great!
I have looked at all the HUGE & ugly Apple watches and I just can not understand why anyone would want them. In my opinion this design does it all without feeling clunky. I wear it 24/7.
On another note, I took my watch off when I went in my Jacuzzi and by accident it fell in the water. Didn't realize it until about half hour later. Went to retrieve it and it works PERFECT!
Thank you so much Samsung for this fantastically designed watch! It is everything I want and more!!!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, love everything about it!
Cons: no cons to add !
