The watch works as advertised. The battery life is sub-par. There are not a wide variety of apps - at least not that interest me (a non-runner). Would like to see Zumba or other aerobics options. To utilize the pulse feature you should put the watch on the inside of your wrist which wears the finish off the bezel. There is no community to challenge the wearer nor with which to compete.
I have recommended this to a friend.
Pros: works best with samsung phone
Cons: battery life

I purchased this device because I'd heard nothing but good things. I also wanted something of good quality and something fun that would allow me to get back on track with keeping me on track with my exercise and innocent challenges. Good device.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight

The product is great. The wrist band is very cheap. I have had it 2 months and it falls off if something touches it. For such a great product, it is a very poor wrist band
Pros: Bright display
Cons: cheap unreliable wristband

Love/Hate relationship

I love my Gear FIt, but I am now going through a second round of it staying in "reboot" mode. I had only had it about 3 months when it happened the first time. Now, a little more than a year later, it is doing it again :(

First I was so happy to get the gear fit so that I can sync it to my samsung phone. I have had nothing but problems. I have to charge this watch every other day, it turns off whenever it feels and today it is not even tracking my steps. I expect better from samsung seeing as how I left Iphone to got back to android/samsung. I am not happy at all.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I never liked wearing watches because I am always afraid of scratching them or damaging them. This Samsung watch not only is the best looking smartwatch I have seen and it does so much even reads your heart beat! How cool is that?
