The greatest fit band around. Doesn't end with counting your steps; you can have uninterrupted work outs by easily viewing calls and messages and other customizable notifications right on your wrist. My favorite part is the ability to control your music on the Gear.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

Over the past few months I have tried out 3 different, popular, fitness trackers and this is the one I came back too. I love the fit (curvature) of the band and size variation. Considering my wrist is very small, I was happy to see that there were many notches for adjusting the size. I really love the vibration alerts that it gives when I'm getting a call or text, and that there is an option for disabling this, is great. I am motivated by seeing the steps that I take throughout the day (seems pretty accurate) and the ability to sync it up with a couple popular fitness apps. I think that the price is a bit much, but is obviously still worth it. One thing that I wish it had, that I liked with some other trackers that I tried, is the "tap to see" function, I really like that, and another would be if it was a bit sleeker, thinner base, which I am sure is probably on its way for 2016.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, size varitaion, vibration/texts/calls, rotation for viewing
Cons: base is a bit thick, can't sync with nike run app., no "tap to see" feature

My wife surprised me with this as an early holiday gift. The device is so smart compared to my first device a Fitbit Flex for which I had to learn what different combinations of white dots meant! Every day I am learning of new capabilities for it. Using it with S Health is a great tool as well. I am sure in the coming days I will learn of even more it can do. I was tickled to have it locate my phone for me today!

I wanted this little creature to motivate me to walked and see my progress, but I have learned to use a lot of the apps, and I love it. I wanted it so bad that my husband surprised me with it the date of my birthday 09/09/15, I love all the Samsung products.

I love my new Gear Fit. It is synchronized with my Samsung phone so that my text messages come through but most of all, I love the motivation it gives me to walk by tracking my steps.

I love my gear fit. I am lost without it. I mostly rely on it to get real time notifications about my calendar, to see incoming calls and notifications when my phone is on silent or lost in my purse, and to get encouraging notes about my daily fitness goals. For what I paid I think it is really great value and Im so glad I invested in it. With my busy schedule it helps me miss a lot less appointments and calls so I am on time and stay in touch.
It gets 4 instead of 5 stars on some features because of the short battery life - since i have to plug it in every other day and I usually forget to put it back on. Because Im so reliant on it I miss a lot when I leave it home by mistake this way. Also, I got the black version and the face has chipped a lot which makes it look cheap. It is a little bulky but I don't mind.
Suggestion for the next version is to maybe make it a bit sleeker with longer battery life and chrome features that won't get chipped so easily.

Awesome features poor durability and software

Great features, love how it works with my phone but the connectivity app with the phone (Samsung Galaxy 5) is clunky and glitchy. In addition, the durability of the screen is extremely poor. While I was sitting in a plane I rested my hands on the arm chair and the screen stopped working.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
