Do not Buy This "Fitness Tracker"

This unit does not track properly. It is about 2,000 steps sort of my other tracker.
I am on my 3rd replacement unit. Every one of these Gear Fits that I have had worked for about 2-3 weeks then went into a state of constant reboot.
If you just purchased this unit, return it before it's too late. I'm stuck with this thing now that it is past the 30 day return window.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, Did not meet expectations

Great for getting in shape and everyday life

I've had this device for a month now and it is making my New Year's resolution super easy. It tracks my steps and active minutes all day so I know how many calories I've burned. It also reminds me to track my meals on S Health and can track specific exercises like walking or cycling. Plus all the other notifications I can receive - messaging, incoming calls, snapchat, pretty much any notification on my phone. Battery life is what I consider epic for all that it does. It is connected via Bluetooth 24/7 and it lasts more than 3 days on one charge. Bluetooth range is pretty good too. I can be two rooms away from my phone with little issue. I'd say 25 to 30 feet with walls in between. All in all a workhorse product. Glad I splurged.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

It does everything that I expected. Gives accurate steps per day. Charge last 3 full days. Recharge is easy. Is motivator to exercise.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable

This is exactly what I was hoping for! Has features designed to motivate the user, and syncs with the S Health App on your Galaxy phone. Also notifies you when you have texts, calls, and emails. You can personalize the display and the features to suit your needs.

Got my Gearfit for Christmas and love it. I have increased my steps thanks to the pedometer and I am able to wear it at work comfortably.

wrist strap

purchased this watch for my wife for her birthday back in May. She liked the watch and what it did, but the wrist strap kept coming undone while wearing it. well it finally happened to fall off and she did not notice until she got home. Went back and retraced her steps and of course she could not find the watch and no one turned it in. Due to the fact I do not have the watch anymore I can not get a new one. Just want to give everyone a heads up to be careful while wearing this watch because you will be out the cash before you know it. I would also like to know if anyone else is have a wrist strap issue.
Cons: wrist strap not secure enough
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
