great features to bad it didn't work

Was very disappointed after setting up the gear fit up and going on my work out then the fit would not respond to my touch even after turning it off and back on. So I never was able to stop my run or review the results it now nothing but a cheap digital clock
Cons: Did not meet expectations, didn't work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using mobile technology since my very first "bag phone" many many years ago. I've used so many different brands - until I came across Samsung with my first Galaxy S2 when it first came out... since then, I've remained with Samsung due to their superior products and ease of use. This product is no different. I've recently come to a point in my life where I've decided I need to get back into shape, but oftentimes the "motivation" isn't there, or the results are skewed over such a long period of time that it's hard to really see progress. This has changed with the Gear Fit. With a great price-point, and a beautiful sleek design that is SO LIGHT you hardly even know it's there! This thing tracks my weight, my sleep, my heart-rate - and meshes so seamlessly with my S-Health on my Galaxy S6 that it is so easy to track my results, and thus plan accordingly. I've now lost 10 pounds in less than a month, and I pretty much owe it all to this nifty little device and Samsung! Thanks guys!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight

This device is not accurate at all. The only thing that is good about it is the design. I was hoping that Samsung would have worked to make corrections a pushed them out electronically. So far there has been nothing. I may have to return this item.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, not accurate

Great Gear that is NOT useable

I was stoked when my wife gave me this for the Christmas.
Then utter despair slipped in when I realized the included band was WAY too SMALL. Looking in the store there seam to be no larger bands and the larger one Samsung used to offer is no longer on their store.
I am not a fat man but I am taller and have larger bone structure than children. Since I can not wear the tech, I can not evaluate its potential and thus my experience with your unit is 1 (one) star.
I fear I will be returning this to the store as it is technology not every human of most races and ethnic origin can use.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, fits children or small wrist people only

Woman love to be fit but what’s one of the main things they look do when working out. They listen to music to drown the world out and they want to look good doing it. They don’t care what people think when they’re working out but they do care about how they see themselves. They Gear Fit is one of the best devices that that has been created but like everything else it would be considered flawed. Unlike the Gear 2 and the Gear Neo, the Gear Fit doesn’t have internal memory so the next best thing (No pun intended) would be The Neo. Women didn’t want the first gear because it seemed to manly or bulky, but when you give them some that’s sexy and appealing, it won’t keep the blood flowing or jamming pace to a constant rhythm keep it going. Re-release the Gear Fit as a set add internal memory, Bluetooth headphones and more colored bands
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, vertical display
Cons: no internal memory, not enough colors

Love how nice it looks on my wrist. The band comes in a ray of colors to match your style. Very easy to use and clean. Pretty accurate for the Pedometer. Just love how you can customize it.
