Does not sync with any Samsung apps*

I downloaded the required app per the instructions; it Fails to Sync when the app is opened, once you retry countless times and finally hit cancel, it shows that it Synced with the current date and time and data. HOWEVER, you cannot access anything else, as in NO PAST HISTORY. The app shows details charts - which you cannot access because of this issue. It doesn't work with the Gear Fit apps or the Gear Fit Manager or S Health. I am using it with a Samsung Galaxy S4 Active which is 15 months old.
Very disappointed with Samsung, I love my Galaxy Tab and S4 and like what the watch does, just wish it would work correctly with apps - ya know - LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO!

Great and Getting Even Better

For a fitness tracker, the Gear Fit is ambitious. It doesn't have all of the features of the Gear smartwatch, but was designed to monitor physical activity. It does also allow users to view incoming text messages, and reply with saved responses you can customize yourself. You can also customize the background screen image. It also charges very quickly. I've had this for over 6 months, and it still attracts the attention of whoever is around. It's getting even better because the software is consistently improving -so I can see data today that I couldn't several months ago. I hope Samsung will continue to evolve the S Health software app (you view this on your phone), because I plan to keep the Gear Fit in daily use.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, stylish

Excellent for fitness

I love just about everything about my gear fit, the only complaint i have is i wish there was a way to add more exercises to the gear fit, such as strength training, yoga, dancing, etc. Everything else is fantastic!!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: can't add more exercises, no speakers

It works fine. However, it chips around the face. Very disappointed. With this price I thought it would stand up better. Must be cheap metal. Guess it wasn't covered by warranty.

Pedometer keeps Pausing

I really liked it at first! but then the Pedometer kept pausing my steps, it wont take my heart rate, it keeps disconnecting from my Samsung galaxy 6 phone even when my phone is in my hand, doesnt sync with S Health. the only thing I like it is that it is lightweight and waterproof.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Off the Charts!

I was really looking forward to ordering and receiving my Gear fit because I own the Galaxy S5 phone and knew that they could sync up with one another. I have owned the unit for the past couple of weeks and am really pleased with my purchase. I love many of the features the product comes with. My favorite is the alert feature that enables me to see my calls, texts and emails as they arrive on my phone. I have the option of declining the call and sending a message or rejecting the call from my Gear fit. This is especially useful when I am working out, in a meeting or on a conference call. There are more features than I can recall. Like I can see what the temperature is outside, check my heart rate at any time, set a timer, a stop watch, change the color of the face, track my steps using the pedometer, clock the number of hours that I sleep motionlessly. I love the sleek design, the almost secret agent black face that can be set to automatically display by the movement of my arm. This product is off the charts with features and functionality. I love my Gear fit and recommended it anyone, especially those who own a Galaxy product.

Love my Gear Fit!

This is the second one I have purchased. I was disappointed when the first one I bought died after a few short months. I had purchased it refurbished, which I will not do again. The only thing two things I struggle with are that the heart rate monitor doesn't always work, particularly when I sweat (which is one of the reasons I bought it to begin with...to track my target heart rate) and the mileage is not always accurate (I have measured my running routes with both MapMyRun and my car).
