I purchased this and thought it was a good product until 6 months after owning it. I wore the watch daily and it picked up normal wear from oils from my skin. This caused the on/off button to get stuck in the "pushed in" position. This drains the power almost immediately and causes the watch to send out an emergency alert to your preprogramed list of emergency contacts. If the battery power is to low it also does the same thing. This happened on two different watches. There are some good features otherwise but this is a problem that makes the watch very difficult to use, Also it is supposed to be waterproof but if you sweat while exercising it tends to cause problems too.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, not waterproof, power drains
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had this gear fit for 3 months. It has automatically reset on its own 4 times and today, it turned off on me and would not turn back on. The battery was fully charged overnight. My husband also has a gear fit and his has auto reset 3 times and yesterday it "drained of battery" though it was also fully charged.
We have both had this device for 3 months.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, expensive
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my watch for about a month. I love it. It has so many features. I wasn't used to wearing a watch and I have come to rely on it. It makes so convenient. You can look at your watch to view messages instead of looking at your phone all the time. You can dismiss calls with preset texts. You can respond to texts with preset texts. It makes it easy when you are in front of customers or your phone is buried in your purse.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Smart watch, stupid strap

The Samsung Gear Fit watch worked great for me for about four months.
The strap, however, is horrible. It constantly came detached from my wrist with the most minor activities.
Most recently, the watch came off when I was on a boat and fell into the water and is now lost forever.
Try this one on before buying, you might want to go with something that will stay on your wrist.
Pros: gives me an excuse to be late (no watch!)
Cons: Poor quality, bad strap

Best smartwatch/activity tracker

I've tried many other fitness bands and none have been as appealing as this one. It is accurate, customizable and absolutely beautiful! I love the gear fit and will not be taking it off any time soon! (except showers and swimming) I'm a long time user of samsung products and that will not be changing. The only thing I would like to be added is automatic sleep tracking, after a long day I forget to set it to sleep mode. Hopefully a software update will fix that! I would definitely recommend it to friend .
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, accurate
Cons: manually set sleep
