This device had the capability to become one of the best.
But unfortunately, the limited connectivity of this device to other devices make this device almost useless.

It does not work with android nor windows phone nor it is compatible to any desktops!
Also, it does not work with many Samsung Phones too!!!
I have wasted my money on this product
I hope Samsung guys are listening!!!
Samsung could have one of the devices but its wasted opportunity because of the limited compatibility of this device!

All you need is this Gear Fit and your can see detailed information on how your workouts or training sessions are going.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

I was excited to receive this for Christmas from my boyfriend until I started reading the manual. You have to have a smart phone in order to use it. I don't like being pressured into purchasing a smartphone in order to use this product. I would like to download it to a tablet or laptop. I think companies should have apps for the computers and tablets also. I can thank my boyfriend for a beautiful thoughtful gift but I can't use it .
I also received a new samsung camera with wi-fi which I can't download pics to my computer or table, only to a smartphone...yet again don't want to forced to purchase a smartphone. At least the camera I can use with a memory card.

I bought this for my wife as a late Christmas present my wife loves it and she uses it for how many steps in a day at work and not work may be she will lose weight here's hoping

Big downfall of the gear fit ,,,no internal memory to put and play mp3 music

I hope the next version of the gear fit has a internal memory to put mp3 music and play with out the smartphone , i bought this samsung gear fit because i like the bracelet look since i have a multifunction watch, i dont want to use the gear s or 2 watch look.but i was disapointed that the gear fit did not have internal memory to save and play music in it and use it with my blue tooth headset,

I wanted a wearable that counted steps, had a heart monitor, and give me alerts of messages. This accomplishes all of that and ties into my Samsung S5 phone without a hitch!
