I love the fact that you can use this to find your device, at that you can customize the screen and it calculates steps and everything!! I had a fitbit before but I love this so much more! Definitely worth it.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

The first thing to notice about this product is the design. It is a good design, lightweight, good to read notifications (it`s my main use nowadays) and to navigate through the system.
The biggest difference from this product to similar ones are the features, with Gear Fit you can read notifications, use S Health, customize the Clock to the Samsung ones and some downloaded, control a Windows PC - I`ve downloaded an app that does it on App Connect in Gear Fit Manager.
It`s a good product overall to use with my smartphone.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: need more apps
I would recommend this to a friend!

Couldn't make it a year

Bought the Samsung Gear for my wife, she immediately made it part of her arm and began to worry when she didn't have it on. Amazing...my wife is a techno-phobe and this she loved. I bought it last June for her birthday and yesterday 3/15/2015 it died, we had a ceremony.
It appears that the only button (mechanical) collapsed...as if the stainless steel dome below just gave up. Usually these domes are rated in the millions of button pushes. Not this one.
I'm going to look around and see if there is a more robust unit on the market that will fill the void, the rating should be 5's across the board, but it just didn't last.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can only enter 4 exercises and not compatible with most popular fitness apps

I thought that this would be cutting edge, but it is not. I cannot track any exercise if it's not walking, running, hiking or cycling. If this were at least compatible with apps that allow me to track other exercises, I would be happy, but its not. From what I read, it used to be a feature of S Health but was taken away. I'd really like to know what the logic behind that was.

It would get 5 stars except for one thing... the re-booting recycle mode. When this phone is working I love it but right now it is on the way back to Samsung to be reset one more time. What ever causes this should be an easy upgrade.

Unhappy after only owning for about 2 months

The watch got stuck in a reboot loop as others have mentioned within first couple months of owning. now trying to send back to samsung to see if they can fix it. we will see how this goes.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Good but not usable with trackers.

I enjoy my Gear Fit, but now that I am trying to track my progress with a group I can't use the information from my Gear Fit in any trackers. It seems to only work with SHealth and a few SHealth friendly apps but nothing else. It seems that almost all the competitors are available to share their data except Samsung. This has made me consider Selling this and getting something from a competitor. It may have a nice screen and such but the fact that it is so locked down is discouraging. As of now the only data I can share is on my phone and nothing else, so my Running and Exercise never gets shared since the tracker has no access to that I guess.
I am a big Samsung user and I chose the Gear Fit over others because it was Samsung, I am now regretting that loyalty.
