Love this product for my exercise program. Easy to use. I have had many compliments on the look. Great variety of bands are available and they are easy to switch.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: no product manual includex

I have had my watch for about a month. I love it. It has so many features. I wasn't used to wearing a watch and I have come to rely on it. It makes so convenient. You can look at your watch to view messages instead of looking at your phone all the time. You can dismiss calls with preset texts. You can respond to texts with preset texts. It makes it easy when you are in front of customers or your phone is buried in your purse.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

Great middle-of-the-road smart watch

I have had the Gear Fit for about a month now and love it. I wanted a fitness band that actual showed the time and this was it. Paired easily with my S4 and setup was pretty simple.
Notifications are great and the bluetooth covers a good distance (still connected with my phone a level below me) I have to put a lot of space and walls between me and the phone to lose it.
Pedometer and heart rate seem accurate, although the heart rate makes you stop what you are doing in order to register.
Sleep monitor seems about right, I can tell the nights I am restless and the watch tells me I was motionless for 66-70% of my sleep time.
Battery lasts about 3 days, as advertised.
All in all a great value-feature fitness/smart watch.

Bad Design on the Band - nice design of the watch

The band gets unhooked and the watch falls, it happened to me quite often. One fall and it broke the display - two days later it no longer worked.
Cost to get display fixed was 70% of the price paid for the watch.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: the band unhooks easily
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My Gear Fit "unpaired" itself from my Samsung S5 Active! I've redownloaded the app and I am not able to get my Gear Fit to work!!

Good features for the price, nicely interface with my S5

Get it on sale, it was quite good in general. Got all the features I needs including tracking step, sleep and heart rates. Like the notification features, displace is nice but may be hard to read in bright light or at some angle.
S/W has room for improvement, had problem sync'ing data with my S5 and need reset.
Would like to see real time continue heart rate monitor (instead of just on demand).
Wireless charging will be Very nice.
The rubber band could be more comfortable.
