Nice, but not for long

The GearFit works great for a month or so until a black liquid starts emanating from inside under the battery. I've had 2 of these with the exact result. I would probably recommend this only to my worst enemy, because it is a painful waste of money.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, faulty, does not work for long
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this for over a week. Now. I love the features of this Gear Fit. It does everything! It even has some add on apps like a flashlight, which really came in handy last night when I knocked something off my nightstand. It sinks really well with my Note 4 too. I have no issues with its functionality.
My complaint with the Gear Fit is that it is really huge on my wrist. When I wear it I feel like I have a wide leather strap on my arm from the 70's. It also makes it hard to put on my winter gloves since the wrists don't want to stretch out that far.
I also don't like the ridges on the band.
I was hoping to see a belt clip accessory for this, but it appears Samsung only wants to focus on the wrist type applications. I did take it off the band and wore it in my pocket for a few days, but that was very inconvenient when checking my progress. It also won't work for sleeping patterns when it is off your wrist.
Overall is a great tool if you don't mind wearing larger jewelry, especially for a man. As for me, I am returning it and going with the Fitbit which isn't as thick and comes with a belt clip.
Pros: Bright display, easy to use for all phone related items, hr sleep exercise and step monitors

Gear fit

Just purchased this to go along with my Note Edge. With the heart rate monitor and stress level monitor I like how they synch and work along with each other. I didn't need the product with the camera and the phone just too much for my needs.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

Overall, I love the gear. The only complaint I have is they should have added some speakers and storage. I am completely in love with my gear, its very convenient and I wear it all the time.

Awesome companion for my note 4

This thing works flawlessly with my note 4. I use it to see my messages, who is calling, and change songs while I work out so I don't have to drag my phone out of my pocket. I have had this for about 3 weeks and love it. It lasts about 2 to 3 days depending on my usage. Also I like how you can use your own wallpaper on the watch. Only thing I wish is when it dislays messages it would side scroll to show the entire message. But the sideways screen doesn't bother me.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, great companion to smart phone
Cons: some may not like the small sideways screen

I was looking for a device that could monitor my heart rate, provide a pedometer and other functions for working out, while still leveraging some of the more useful smart phone technologies available today.
The Gear Fit is a great product that fit my exact needs.
