Best smartwatch/activity tracker

I've tried many other fitness bands and none have been as appealing as this one. It is accurate, customizable and absolutely beautiful! I love the gear fit and will not be taking it off any time soon! (except showers and swimming) I'm a long time user of samsung products and that will not be changing. The only thing I would like to be added is automatic sleep tracking, after a long day I forget to set it to sleep mode. Hopefully a software update will fix that! I would definitely recommend it to friend .
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, accurate
Cons: manually set sleep

Wonderful product. I got this because I have a heart condition, & this lets me monitor my heart. I have had other monitors/watches before , but they were bulky & not very stylish. This is stylish, especially with the interchangeable bands. I have really enjoyed it. The only time I take it off is to charge it. I have recommended it to others.

I never write reviews but I was very skeptic about this after reading the reviews especially compatibility with newer phones and battery life so I thought I would share. I have the Note 4 and it is compatible and works perfect. The battery lasts about 5 days without being charged and i have had no problem plugging the charging clip in. I never wore a watch i only bought it for the text message and calling feature. But I find myself using the health portion of it and trying to reach the step goals and the sleep function. Overall this is great and great price.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

I received countless compliments daily on the look of my watch. It is the perfect size, shape, and contour to any wrist. It is also extremely durable, it has taken many drops and hits without showing signs of wear. The battery life is phenomenal, it typical last me 3 to 4 days before it requires a charge and I use it constantly. It is quick and easy to access information instead of always looking at my phone, so I can pay attention to what is going on around me and enjoy life.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, battery built to last

A good fitness watch for the minimalist

The gear fit is a good tool for the minimalist. It doesn't have all the features that you may want in fitness watch, but it has all the basic functionality that you need. The gear fit adds a nice touch of simplicity to my workouts, allowing me to keep track of my lap times, heart rate, and makes it easier for me to take consistent breaks between sets with the timer function. One of the main features that I use is the media controller because not only does it make it easier to control my music while I workout, it also makes controlling my music in the car much easier and safer as I no longer have to look down at my phone to switch songs, instead I can keep my eyes on the road. The gear fits functionality combined with the data stored in the gear fit manager app make it just as useful as any other fitness watch I have owned. It also has a "find my device" function which calls your phone if you ever misplace it, which definitely comes in handy. All that plus a substantial battery life and reasonable price make for an all-in-all good investment

Samsung Gear Fit - Issues

I used this watch for a few months and then it had an issue that others have also experienced with the watch being stuck in a rebooting loop. It took a month to get the serial number authorized. And a few weeks to get the actual RMA for the service. Once sent in for repair and it came back quickly. Fixed! Two months later the same issue occurred. I will attempt another repair and that's it. When the watch worked, it was awesome! Having the watch able to control the media play on my phone and have it tell me who's calling, show me text messages, track my exercise and steps. Super! Since it's stuck in the rebooting loop there appears to be no real solution for the end user (I have tried the suggestions - it worked once and then a day later it was back) to resolve the rebooting issue on their own. Sending it back every few months is not acceptable. This should not happen. I cannot recommend this watch to others. I may go back to a FitBit.
Pros: Bright display, useful features
Cons: Did not meet expectations, has a software issue

Easily keep track of your steps, sleep time, check your heart rate and did I mention it's also a watch!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: battery life is too short
