I love all the features, for me it works great. It works flawlessly with my Samsung s5 phone. I keep track of my steps, workouts, can control my music with it easily, can see who is texting me, can see who is calling and answer or decline phone call. works great with my bluetooth head phones. can change the wallpaper, is small enough for my wrist. easy to put on. battery lasts a long time. I highly recommend, I like it much better than the fitbit, it is way more comfortable. I am an over 60 lady and love it.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

This tracker is just right for someone who's trying to stay motivated to improve their activity level. I think it would be suitable for the occasional exerciser and also for the more serious exerciser. The sleep monitor is very helpful personally to me. I think it's quite accurate.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight, avail features

Although it is not a full on smart watch it is great for the features it has and especially for the price. Im very happy with it overall.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: not a whole lot of features

I purchased this product because I liked the bright colors on the screen. I had just purchased a new Samsung phone and wanted to stay with a Samsung product. I was happy with its capabilities and was having fun with it...... for 6 days. That is how long it took for it to come unhooked and fall off of my wrist. Of course this happened on a day I was out of town and I never saw it again. I can not afford another one, and I don't think I would purchase another one unless they put an actual clasp on it to keep the same thing from happening.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: band comes unhooked too easily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good but with major issues - No AutoLock after update

First of All, this has potential. The screen looks great, the curve is nice, it is lighter than I expected, battery life isn't bad at all, in fact, I kind of wish they made the watch with a similar (just wider) curved screen because it works well.
Unfortunately, the software is extremely limited and one of the biggest selling points of the watch, auto lock (the ability to lock your phone when out of range of the watch) is now gone!!!!!
Thanks Samsung for selling me on this feature and then taking it away after I buy it. I really wanted to give them 1 star for that but I'll be fair.

The fitness side is not much better. The data, while awesome, just is not accurate enough to be useful. And that is the big deal with this.
Notifications work well enough...similar to any gear smartwatch and that is really the biggest selling point at this time. I enjoy notifications but unfortunately it's not enough to make this device worth it.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no auto lock, health data is way off

Got this for the wife to replace her failing Fitbit Flex. She loved its design, I loved how easy it was to use out of the box compared to similar products. It is somewhere in between a smartwatch and a fitness tracker. Battery life is great, screen is amazing and it is not all bulky like a smartwatch. Good job Samsung. My only complaint is that it does not work on non-Samsung phones so I am unable to buy one for myself :(. Oh yeah, waterproof is nice, used to take off the Fitbit when giving the baby a bath and you can pause the pedometer whenever you want.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, fashionable
Cons: limited cell phone features

Two Services in Two Months

I've had to have my Gear Fit sent in for service twice in the last two minutes because of getting caught in an endless reboot cycle.
When it is working I've loved the ability to be able to quickly see summaries of my emails and text messages at a glance. Also receiving sport score updates and other notifications all without taking my phone out of my pocket. I wear a Bluetooth so I can leave my phone at my desk while I get coffee and if I get a call I can tell who is calling and take it or send them a text response that I pre create.
Again all this is great when I have it and it is not off to the service center.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Power Button broke and poor heart rate monitor

I am very disappointed in the heart rate monitor. It can take up to 3 times trying before it will read my heart rate. When it does, it is very off. I walked up 15 flights of stairs and showed my heart rate to be 83 bpm.
The power button is stuck and I cannot turn the unit off now or on. I have to swing my arm to get the display to show. I will be taking this back to where I bought it for a return.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
