Nice product, chrome trim flaked off after less than 1 yr. I would purchase again if the chrome was not part of the deaign.
Pros: Lightweight, very useful product
Cons: Poor quality

I have had this product for approximately six months. It started off great! However, now, it dies without warning, reboots without warning, pauses my pedometer randomly, does not sync well with my phone (S6 edge), and stops tracking my sleep in the middle of the night. It is incredibly frustrating. If I wanted just a watch to tell time, I'd go to Fossil.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Needs an improved battery

What I like. I'm a small woman, this watch fits me without looking awkward. I like the different bands.
Dislikes. The battery life is poor. This is my second gear fit watch. Both have had poor battery life. I will keep the phone not synced, the light at its lowest setting most of the day, and I am not able to log 24hrs. The watch will turn to and if I'm moving and the watch rubs against me it will switch screens, stop the pedometer, put me on sleep mode. Very frustrated. Have it 6 mo., looking for a different watch!

i love my Gear Fit!! i just wish there was a community for us to do things like Fitbit . i also was hoping that it would sync to other apps like my fitness pal. but other than that I LOVE IT!!

Love the design but not totally happy with the function

I have had my Gear Fit for over a week. I like it's looks. It fits on my wrist comfortably and it functions mostly well but I have several disappointments from what I expected.
1. I use my Gear Fit with the S Health app. The Gear Fit will track heart rate and distance traveled only for four categories of exercise, running, walking, hiking, and cycling. The S Health app has many more sports that is capable of tracking. I do not understand why the Gear Fit will only track those activities where you are traveling distances. Many workouts don't travel. Why can't I track my heart rate for these?
2. This best syncing interval is only three hours. Why can't I constantly sync?
3. When I try to do the transfer now sync, the app tells me I have to set up a profile, which I did a week ago.
4. The Gear Fit also does not measure stress level like I can using the S Health app.
5. I tried adding my own photo to the wallpaper list. I thought that was a cool feature until I realized you cannot change the color of the font for the clock and other info that overlays on the wallpaper. White is not a perfect color for everything.
6. I downloaded several apps, but have yet to figure out how to use them. And only two of them appear on the list in my Gear Fit.
I hope Samsung will continue to work on this items functions and I look forward to investigating the next generation of Gear Fit. Waterproof would be nice to.

I purchased this and thought it was a good product until 6 months after owning it. I wore the watch daily and it picked up normal wear from oils from my skin. This caused the on/off button to get stuck in the "pushed in" position. This drains the power almost immediately and causes the watch to send out an emergency alert to your preprogramed list of emergency contacts. If the battery power is to low it also does the same thing. This happened on two different watches. There are some good features otherwise but this is a problem that makes the watch very difficult to use, Also it is supposed to be waterproof but if you sweat while exercising it tends to cause problems too.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, not waterproof, power drains
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Issue right out of the box

The product seems to function as it should except the screen is burned out in one corner right out of the box. The strap also may be an issue as you wear it and wear out the holes since there is no clasp or buckle type strap as you would traditionally see on a watch band. Last, I am not quite sure how accurate the heart rate and ped may actually be.

Cons: burned out corner on display

Great product only a few suggestions

I love it, it has worked great for me. Only things I would suggest is more options for the clock, both vertical and horizontal. Would like to be able to customize the clock ie. The font color or moving it higher or lower. Also if you download a clock from the play store I would like to be able to change the background pic but keep the clock.
