Hey, Glenn! Your computer will have to install the appropriate CD Recording Authoring Software for the SP80NB60 before immediate use, and you may have to uninstall any previous CD burning software loaded on your PC in order to prevent any compatibility issues. ^Ian

Found in a box in my office, still works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't even remember buying this. Was cleaning out the office and found it in my travel stuff. I can only imagine it's been knocked around a bit. Plugged it into my Windows 11 machine, it worked immediately with no apparent problems. I updated the firmware as well. Played my Saving Private Ryan DVD just fine. Reviews being what they are I half expected it to damage the disk or something, but it's actually just fine.
