Nice tv but plan on buying a universal remote. No numbers on remote, not friendly. User manual very limited. Great picture.

The picture that this tv provides is superb. There isn't anything I would change. Of course, everyone has their own little tweaks to do when it comes to picture and colors. Everything is simple and easy to use from the remote to the smart hub. I am very pleased with this product.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, great 3d experience.
Cons: none!!!

Best tv I have ever owned. Incredibly clear color and works great with my soundbar. Unfortunately the pointer on the remote stopped working. I am currently trying to work through Samsung's customer support to get it fixed or replaced.

Just getting started but, so far no complaints. Would like to know what service to use for more 4K content. Have Netflix but, not much available in 4K movies.

I love this TV it does amazing things, i would buy it again if I had the chance again I love the 4K, only thing that worries me is how hot it gets on the back pannel of the tv.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, pointer on remote, fastmenus, 4k
Cons: back part of the tv gets very hot

Simply breathtaking...HDR, Ratio, Deep Rich Colors, absolute perfect black and whites, quick responses to linked devices (didn't even have to calibrate the remote) and the 4k technology along with the Smart features are nothing short of perfection...The set itself is lightweight, beautiful bezel along the entire border and frame...No color loss( if paired correctly) AND paired with a Smart Samsung keyboard is nothing short of beauty at it's finest...Where this JS 8500 8 Series shines is the factory setting in the menu for "Sport setting"...My take is? "Straight jaw dropper"...I sat with the biggest grin watching a movie such as "Avitar" in 3d, and was literally drooling at the fine line detail and color drops in every scene...the contrast is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful deep dark blacks and shadow detail in "a shadowing scene"...This company has it all...not just the television...I own a Samsung Mega phone, upgraded to this above mentioned television, from the ES 6500 fxza from 2012 with only dual processors...and THAT set was my baby...I feel for all competitors if or when Samsung produces an OLED series...I still liked this set over all the price ranged sets...Nothing short of Exellence...I standby and will always continue to support Samsung and all they have given us...
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, the silver stands out in beauty
