Impressive

We purchased the Samsung 4K SUHD JS8500 Series Smart TV - 55" (UN55JS8500FXZA) just over a month ago. It is the first tv we've purchased in over 10 years and it is INCREDIBLE. It was easy to set up, the picture and sound are amazing and there are so many great features - we haven't even used them all. The ONLY thing I was not thrilled about was the silver frame around the tv. I would have preferred a black frame, since we have spent years trying to move away from silver accents in our home decor. But, it is a minor issue that isn't noticable when the TV is on. It would have been nice to have the option of frame color, though.
I would not hesitate to recommend this TV to anyone who wants an incredible tv at a reasonable price (for this level of quality and amount of features offered).
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, outstanding features
Cons: no frame color option

This is a great TV

This TV was with us for almost a month and we enjoyed watching it. quality of the picture is awesome. We had the samsung 40inch TV earlier and we are having that 40inch tv for almost 7 years without having any issues and we put that in the basement. And we always love the samsung TV.

I love this TV. The picture quality is excellent - stunning even. Great for sports & watching movies. Blueray movies are gorgeous. Even cable TV, which is likely not 4k, looks great - the picture upsizing is impressive. Using Netflix and Youtube directly from the TV also works well. Additionally, this is a very slim TV and is very unobtrusive, mounted over my fireplace. Be advised that the thin frame around the picture is silver, not black. It took a little getting used to, but I do like it.

Did a lot of research before purchase. This product fit all my requirements for size, resolution, reputation. Have had this TV for about 2 months and I am more than completely pleased. As expected 4K picture is amazing but even the up coded HD broadcast goes way beyond 1080 quality. Yes 4K programming is scarce but this is a TV for the future.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: documentation supplied with tv is sparse at best., not the cheapest tv but well worth the money.

Couldn't be happier with this purchase after a friend recommended and reading other positive reviews. Have had many compliments from friends when they were over to watch the college bowl games.
