Best "non-curved" TV

If you're not a fan of the curved style TV then this is the best TV out there. This TV has bright colors and great smart features. It is especially great for live sports. Best TV in its class. Besides the fact that some of Samsung's top shelf features are only put in their high end curved models, there are only 2 features that are disappointing about this TV although not deal breakers. First, the one connect mini is a great idea but at only 6ft. the cable connecting it to the TV is just way to short if you wish to wall mount your TV. A 10-12ft cable would be an easy fix for this. Secondly, the smart remote is just frustrating. It has issues staying connected via Bluetooth and in an effort to have the fewest amount of buttons possible they've left too many off making trying to control all of your other devices with it nearly impossible. Using a separate universal remote would be ideal but in order to control most of the smart features you still have to use the Samsung remote.
All in all very satisfied with purchase.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, smart apps
Cons: remote, one connect mini

Samsung SUHD 55 inch TV Series 8500

It's amazing.....picture will blow you away, ease of set-up, even for this gramps, apps with the use of the remote and pointer option is excellent....awesome idea by samsung. We have only had the set for a couple of weeks, so all is working well electronically thus far. However, once again....samsung has really out did themselves with the picture quality and ease of use of the WiFi, the various set-ups etc. The set is a bit pricey compared to other manufactures.......but here you truly get what you pay for. Oh forgot, the streaming using the set's WiFi for Netflix (app incl.) and Amazon Prime (app incl) is so simple with the smart key on the remote.....another excellent idea by samsung.

Upgeaded from a rear projection TV. The picture is incredible, setup is simple, and I really like the Smart Hub. I like the small remote, and the way it controls the screen curser. Awesome TV!!

Just purchased a Samsung 55" SUHD (UN55JS8500FXZA) and it is great. Extremely clear picture, great colors, very bright, fast motions are okay, quick response to the remote, turns on quickly, easy set up, and great price.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, exceeded expectations

For the price the picture is superb! Added a sound bar and speakers to get the full effect. Should have done this sooner

This is a smart TV. I plug it in and it did the rest. Nothing for me to set up. The TV did it all for me. Great picture, one of the best I have ever seen. If your looking for a top of the line television. Then the Samsung un65js8500 is the one your looking for.
