I got this tv last month and I love it. I got a little light bleed which u can barely see on 1 corner but other then that I enjoy watching movies on my Samsung 4k blu ray player.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: a little light bleed on 1 corner

I have been looking at purchasing this TV for some time. I finally purchased this and I have been blown away by the picture quality of this TV. Even the network channels have great picture quality, but the 4K movies are like you are there. The scenery in some of them are unbelievable. If you are looking for a great TV, consider this one. The only thing I am not crazy about is the remote that comes with this. There is not as many button features as in past models.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight

My wife and I Love this Television. What a beautiful picture and the stock speakers aren't to bad either.

The picture quality on this TV is outstanding. We haven't tried the 3D feature yet, but the picture looks almost 3D anyway. It was easy to install and having the extra HDMI ports is a plus. We will be buying a sound bar, not because the TV volume is inadequate, but because we are used to full room sound. Having all the apps already installed and with the built-in wireless, what more could you want.
We would definitely recommend this TV and plan to buy a smaller Samsung TV for the bedroom.

The set took me literally 10 minutes to set up. Very intuitive interface. The SUHD picture is really impressive. My wife made the comment that it looked 3D. Took a while to get comfortable with the Smart Remote but have the hang of it now and actually prefer it over a standard remote. I'm replacing my Samsung TV I purchased 5 years ago with this SUHD model and moved the old one to our bedroom. I was a Sony owner for many years but prefer all of the Samsung products over Sony. Truly a well made product.

The JS8500 is a beautiful screen with high resolution and many built in smart features like Netflix. I especially like the pointer function of the remote, which makes it much faster to select items than the old style up, down and sideways arrows.
