I don’t know what is worse. The fact that this expensive refrigerator broke down with 18 months of purchasing it or the absolutely worse customer service I have ever seen from LG to get it fixed. We are now two weeks without a fridge and still no date of when it will get repaired. I definitely do not recommend LG.

NOT built to last

Life is NOT good with this pretty refrigerator. While we love the way it looks and the function of the doors & drawers, (freezer is on the small side).....LG can't seem to make a compressor that will last longer than a year. We replaced the first compressor days before our 12 month warranty ran out. The repair took over a month because the compressor was on back order (go figure). Once we got it repaired, we wrote it off to a fluke and were happy to have our fridge back. We are now on our THIRD compressor in 3.5 years! Don't do it folks...find another option or buy the extended warranty. #LGFAIL

Love this Fridge!!!

I am so happy we invested in this refrigerator last year. This is the best part of my kitchen! My friends all comment on how much they love my fridge! It has tons of room and keeps things fresh and cold! The freezer is amazing! Tons of room there too! I would absolutely recommend this product!

It is very functional and roomy. The LED light makes everything easy to find. There is a lot of room for small bottle. The place to keep the milk is really handy and the slid-in shelf is grat for small bottles.

Quiet!!

Very nice. Replaced a SubZero at 1/3 the cost. Am very pleased with the performance. Being much shorter than the SubZero, it gave us additional cabinet space above the refrigerator without noticeably reducing refrigerator space. Shelf layout and functionality is quite good.

Great fridge but small freezer

Overall, my wife and I like this fridge as it gives us additional fridge space our prior (side-by-side) didn't offer. The ice-maker is quiet and cranks out ice quickly. Our only complaint is the freezer space w/ this unit is smaller than our prior fridge. Other than that it's been a great purchase.

Frost issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the gasket replaced on the freezer for excessive frost build up and now I've had a repair company out twice for frost on the inside of the door with the icemaker. Those gaskets replaced too and repairman says he exhausted all options. Now waiting to hear from LG about a replacement.
As far as function, I wish the chiller drawer stayed open and didn't close by itself.
Overall I like the fridge and hope LG stands behind its product.
