Love it but has broke down twice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought it 4 years and 4 months ago. It quit working a year ago and again a month ago. According to the repairman, the refrigerant was leaking (faulty from the factory, nothing visible and the leak allowed the compressor to suck in oxygen and contaminants through the whole system. He had to replace the compressor, condenser and the evaporator. It was all covered by warranty. However, twice we’ve lost everything in fridge and freezer and have damaged wood floor where the ice machine contents melted and leaked. Other than that, it’s pretty.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great looking Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the black stainless French door depth and wine drawer of this refrigerator. Everything's very functional as well. One negative is it needs to be defrosted too often. This requires fully empting the freezer. Frost builds up on the internal gaskets.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don’t waste your money

The color is peeling, the compressor went bad they send a tech after I loss all my food, I also have the gas range and same problem the finish is peeling. Don’t by LG

We've owned this 4 years and I would never buy another LG product. This has been terrible and breaks down frequently and takes long to get it fixed. My son had one also and had the same experience. He had to have it replaced.

Too many repairs
