The replacement was due to a compressor failure problem that could not be reconciled after a month. I loved my fridge with the space, compartments, and ease of use. The compressor issue put this product with a fair rating.

However it failed to live up to its ratings and apparently there was a lawsuit out on the company because they continue to make the product knowing that it was going to fail instead of fixing the problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit came with a house I bought two years ago. It was a recent install before I bought the house, so it's a fairly new unit. Since I've owned it, I've had to have it serviced 3 times, to include a new compressor. The ice/water dispenser isn't working now, and the repair folks think it's a PC board problem, but can't get a replacement PC card because of the shortage caused by the pandemic...not their fault, but it just adds to it. I'm lucky that I bought a Home Warranty contract or I'd be out a big chunk of $$ repairing this unit.
It's big. Has some nice features. When it's working, it's nice. Holds temp well, nice compartment configuration, quiet, etc. It's just not proven to be dependable. So much so that I bought a "spare" unit to put in the garage "just in case".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
