I love the features if the refrigerator, the lighting, the space and everything about it Really disappointed after the compressor failed after only 2 years old. LG had to come and do repair, and i was without a refrigerator for two weeks! I did not have to pay for repair, and i'm still waiting for food spoilage reimbursement.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator 3 years ago and enjoyed it every day until the compressor went out. You handled the repair well, but being without a refrigerator for 5 days is not fun. What we like about the unit is the bottom freezer and its sliding drawers, the easy access, to things in the various compartments - well designed use of space above, and the door water and ice dispenser. What we don't like is the limited ice capacity (the ice storage often jams, preventing further ice production). Overall, a well designed, useful unit. Reliability is a problem - we have heard that LG has compressor problems often. Will think twice about future purchases.

I like the ice and water in the door. It is a counter depth model, but it seems to have plenty of room for me. I really like the drawer. I was afraid the freezer would be too small, but it holds more than enough.

- Generally unreliable ice maker...freezes up and becomes useless
- VERY difficult to disassemble lower shelving and glass to clean
- Upper shelves don't stay locked together - they are constantly separating
