[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge has been working great up 'til now. Had to bring in the technician and service the compressor and evaporating radiator. Apparently, this fridge is known to have a leak there.
I was lucky that it happened before my 5yrs was up. LG technician came out and fixed everything at no charge. Fridge is good as new. :)

Freezer compartment pops loudly during defrost, which does not work well. Evaporator fills with ice and impinges the evaporator fan which makes a constant racket. You must manually defrost this pig to make it work. It stopped cooling completely after 4 years of operation. Do not buy an LG refrigerator.
