This is a good product. stainless steel is resistant to rust, won't rot out over time, and looks nice, too. Be diligent though...if someone tells you you have to have these to install your new washer, double check to see if the standard rubber hoses come with your new washer first. If the rubber ones do come with, and you aren't looking to drop an extra $30 unnecessarily, than I would skip this purchase. If you have to buy hoses anyhow, these are a good recommendation. The price could be a bit lower though, I feel like I got gouged by all the things I 'needed' with my new washer.
What's great about it: stainless steel last forever
What's not so great: your new washer probably comes with rubber hoses already.

The inside diameter of the hoses was too small causing abnormal water pressure pulses during the first and rinse cycles that causes the the pipes to rattle in the walls making loud clunking noises that sounded like someone was hitting the side of the house with a basketball. We had to call the Geek Squad out to figure it out. He had us turn down the water pressure then the soap did not empty all of the way. Finally we simply bought new wider hoses and the problem was resolved.

The female coupling that fits over the washing machine inlet has too few threads to get a good connection. On my washing machine they kept cross-threading and would not stop leaking. They also do no have the larger internal hose diameter that make the new efficiency washers work better. Better to get FluidMaster hoses or equivalent.

We bought an LG washer and dryer, had them stacked and "installed". They did hook up these hoses but we quickly noticed that we had water hammer when the washer abruptly turned off during its normal cycle. This did not happen with our old washer and it's a bit surprising that it did happen with this one since we do have 2 year old copper pipes that do have arrestors installed. I could temporarily get rid of it by turning off the main and turning on a few faucets. This seemed to drain the arrestors but after a few cycles, the hammer would return. I ended up going to Royal Brass in San Jose and had them make me a set of 3/4" hoses and the problem is gone.

In less than 30 days, the O-ring cracked and ended up spraying water all over my laundry room floor. It was a nightmare to try and move the washer and clean up under the plastic pan our washer sits on.

I was told I had to buy this to install my washer, even tough the LG came with hoses. Was installed by delivery company. When we started the washer there was a high pitched whistle as the water flowed into the machine (there was also pipe hammering, but that's another story). Thought maybe new washer needs to break in, I don't know, so we used the washer as is for a few days. The whistle never went away. I decided to change to larger diameter hose, as well as, install mini-resters. No more whistle or banging pipes. Returning the hoses to BB.
