Recommend to people who are a fan of awful stuff

I'm just going to be blunt and to the point. There was a leak in the hose and it flooded my upstairs. Best Buy FORCES you to purchase this in order to have the appliances installed, just do it yourself or pay someone to install them because if something goes wrong with this, good luck getting Best Buy to do anything about it. I got tossed back and forth between Best Buy's insurance, the hose manufacturer, and Samsung. It just isn't worth having to deal with 3 people and I've ended up just sucking up the cost and doing it myself. This is also probably the last major purchase I make at Best Buy.

These are probably fine. The on line order required this addition but the Best Buy installer told us it was best to use the hosed supplied by manufacturer (LG).we returned these.

I was sold this when buying a washer. If I hadn't recently replaced my washer hoses, I would have needed it. No one asked me if I needed/wanted it, they just sold it to me. When they delivered the dryer, I was told they could not set it up unless they used their hoses. I'm not complaining about the policy, I just should have been informed about it BEFORE I paid for it. It meant a second trip to the store

bought 4 ft.rubber GE hoses. washers fit couplings, ID of hose much larger. twice the flow. no leaks
What's great about it: it's shiny
What's not so great: 2 feet too long, washers too small, falls inside of faucet, tiny inside diameter of hose cuts flow in half.

These Stainless- Steel hoses are great won't leave any black marks on the wall and you don't have to worry about them dry-rotting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Because cheap washers were used in this hose kit after only 4 loads of clothes I came home from work after being out of town the day before for a funeral... thought what is that awful smell. I changed my work clothes and went to see if my cat boxes were causing the odor. I was barefoot at thus time and immediately found out the problem... water was not dripping in back of my machine it was running out at the hose going into the back of machine and ruined my brand new wood floors. Good news is I filed a claim with installer insurance and have been told our will be taken care of...just wish they would hurry!!
