Stick with the factory supplied hose

I "upgraded" to these hoses when I purchased a new machine (a top of the line LG). A few weeks after installation, we noticed water damage in the ceiling two floors below the washiing machine caused by a slow leak from the washer. We replaced one of these hoses and the leak stopped. We weren't sure it was from the hose, but a few months later, we had another slow leak from the machine from the other hose. Do not upgrade to this hose. It will end up costing you more than the purchase price.

Whatever you do, do not purchase these hoses for your washer. They do get water to your machine, but they caused a terrible "water hammer" effect when the LG front loader we purchased uses water to determine the load level, etc. I could hear the banging clear as day in my bedroom on the other side of my house. We ended up replacing these hoses with specialized rubber hoses after my husband researched the problem online. Now we don't hear anything. Please, don't waste your money on these!

I purchased these hoses when I bought my washer & dryer from Best Buy. Fast forward less than 2 years and I have a small flood in my home. Both hoses had multiple leaks/cracks. So, I did the reasonable thing (sarcasm) and purchased the exact same hoses at Best Buy as the replacements. After reading so many positive reviews, I assumed I just got a faulty set in the beginning. My replacement hoses lasted 8 days (cue leaks/cracks). By the way, I shut my water off at the valve when not in use now so the mini flood this time wasn't as bad. I've since replaced these hoses with rubber hoses from a local hardware store, for the half the price. If you're contemplating purchasing these hoses, don't.

Didn't need hoses - they caused loud water hammer

Pacific sales told me we needed hoses with our new clothes washer. So we bought them and they installed them. The washer actually DID come with hoses, so we didn't need these. After a week's laundry with loud water hammer noises every time the washer turned the water on and off. I swapped out these hoses for the ones that came with the washer, and that LG recommended using. LG specifically said in the manual NOT to use 3rd party hoses. The LG hoses have a larger inside diameter, and with them installed, there were no more water hammer thumps.
These are undoubtedly good hoses, but there were not needed, and they caused a problem for us.
