Love how I can swim for kms

I bought this years ago and because it wasn't compatible with Audible, I just threw it in my dresser. Now that I'm distance swimming and looking for music I dragged it out and relearned how to use it. Controls are small and hard to figure out at first especially while swimming but I've gotten the hang of it. Love listening to great music to accompany my long swims

Sound volume issue

Hi Mohit vashisth, The headphones (NWZ-W273) have VOL+/- button. You can adjust the volume up to 31 steps: from 0 to 30 ("10” is set by default). The volume and bass will also depend on the quality of the songs.

Decent MP3 Player

Good product considering I won it for free at a festival. I lost one of the earbud pieces that protected your ears from the plastic. So I went to the Sony web store to see if I could buy a new pair. When I saw it was waterproof I thought, cool upside if it worked. I use it everyday. It's just a normal MP3 Player. Also people at my school are calling my Sony Walkman airpods

Wonderful sound and features; poor battery issues

Bought this in 2017. Used it regularly. In early 2019 the charge would not hold. Called in an apparently you can't replace the battery but have to buy a new one. Sad. Won't buy one again as this is a huge oversight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

the charging cradle.

I bought this NWZ-W273S some time ago, 2017 I think. While the player itself works beautifully (though i did use a rubber band to make it tighter on my head while running), I have had a ton of issues with the charging cradle. First, my computer would not recognize the device and I had to download a different media player and use it to put files on the player. It worked for a long time after that. Next, it stopped being recognized by my computer, but it would still charge from the wall. So i couldn't put new songs on it but i could charge it. Next, it stopped charging altogether. I found out that the connectors on the cradle are sunk too low to make contact with the connectors on the player. I ended up ordering another charging cradle. this one worked for several months and suddenly stopped. No charge from the wall, no charge or recognition on my computer. I used a pin to dig the sunken connectors out of the cradle so that they would make contact with the connectors on the player. It still didn't work. I brought it to an electronics repair place and they could not get it to respond even though the connects are in contact. The cradle had simply died. I love the device, but do i replace the charging cradle a 3rd time? Has there been any improvement to the charging cradle since then?
I would give this full stars if it wasn't for the issues with the charging cradle. Without being able to charge or add songs, it makes this mp3 player useless, when it could be so perfect.
