Got it for my birthday. Very comfortable and easy to use but as to me needs more features like FM tuner and blutooth to use it with tablet or phone.

Frustrating to use

The buttons are so tiny, and need pushing in hard with nails. Despite hours spent trying to follow the manual, I cannot get the sound to a suitable level. The volume button seems to have no effect. Controls are not well designed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sony Walkman

I was so excited when I purchased these to use for swimming, as swimming can get quite boring. Todate, they have not worked for me at all. The minute I hit the water, they lose sound. Once they get wet, they are finished. So disappointed, and out $129 bucks.

Good walkman but has now many technical problems!

Hello I bought it and used it nicely for 2 years and it was working fine
Now the problem is that for no special reason the volume goes down automatically and the only way to hear music is to KEEP the finger on the UP VOLUME button !
I hope to find a solution or that Sony provides a solution

Somewhat let down

Although the sound quality and hardware seems fine it's most annoying feature is every time you plug it into the computer to recharge the battery the current song playing goes back to the first song. It takes ages to tab left to get back to the song you were listening to - is there a software update available to fix this, what can only be described as a, bug

Why Zappin?

I was very excited when I bought this player because I thought it would be perfect for the gym. No wires from the headphones/earbuds to get in the way. However, it would n't come on initially. When it finally did, it was in the zappin mode and it took a couple of minutes before I was able to turn it off. Finally, with the zappin off, the sound was pretty good. I was impressed. But later, at the gym, when I tried to turn the music on, it wouldn't come on right away. When it did, the zappin mode was on again. It took almost five minutes to get the zappin off. Sorry, but what is with this feature? Who listens to a song for only 4-15 seconds? I took it back to the store after only two days. Your other mp3 player is so easy, turn it on, music plays, Sony should remember, Keep It Simple!

These things are awesome! I have had no problem with these at all. They are easy to recharge, add music, and control. I use them when I run, bike, row, and other workout routines. They are comfortable on my head, I hardly notice them at all while I'm wearing. There are different size ear buds; this made it very nice to have a comfortable fit. Best thing: NO WIRES!
I would recommend this to a friend!
