The original LG water filters make the water taste 10X better than those cheaper offbrand filters. I tried them and can attest to that fact! Stick with LG originals, you can't go wrong.

I had to purchase an off brand when I couldn’t find the LG version and it stopped up my ice maker. I have never had that issue with the LG brand. It works for a full 6 months! Very pleased with it!

Happy with the product, it is easy to install. However I signed up for receiving one 6 month replacement filter but they keep wanting to send a new one every 3 months. I can't find any way to edit the frequency of the automatic shipments and it's difficult to find and get to the skip next shipment page.
