My New LG washer Exceeds all My Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new LG washer for four months now and for the first time in my life I love doing the wash (I also bought a new LG dryer at the same time--love it). The capacity is great and there are many features to choose from to get the best experience and my clothes actually get rinsed and spun wonderfully (they are not dripping wet going into the dryer). You need to remember twice a month to empty the water valve and clean the lint trap but I do not mind it one bit if it means my clothes are continually getting washed beautifully!
Pros: Performance
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I had known that I had to clean the drain filter twice a month! I've had two instances where my floor was flooded because of this. What a pain in the rear! I've now set up reminders in my iPhone. Never had to do this before with any other product such as GE, Maytag, Whirlpool, etc. With that said I LOVE the machine. Cleans clothes like I've never seen! Very quiet UNLIKE the GE, Maytag, Whirlpool machines I've owned in the past.

Great Machine

Had a duo before and loved it but this one seems to do a better job cleaning large items,with less noise and is large enough to clean my king comforter without a problem! Really like all the presets settings that still allows you to edit for your own personal preferences, it just a great machine.

Questionable Long Term quality

The washer has plenty of useful features and clothes come out very clean.

My biggest issue with the washer is I have already had a service repair -- within two weeks of purchasing the washer. The washer has an intermittent leak from a nozzle on the front gasket and had a broken damper (as diagnosed by the repair technician).
There is also a very annoying loud metallic rattling sound from the washer that the technician was unable to repair. The washer motor actually bangs against the metal housing during the spin cycle (technician could see the scratches when he took it apart), this seems like a design flaw to me.

The only reason I didn't give this washer a single star was because it actually cleans clothes very well and fairly quickly.
