[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is wonderful. I love all the features and customization options. Some features I thought I'd never use but I'm surprised that after a year of use there are few that I have not used. I love the printed manual, also, so many items have gone to pdf only manuals. It's nice to have a quick chart for all the different wash cycles. I only wish the washer and dryer had different "ringtones" so I could easily tell which device was paging me.

The best washer we have ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We looked at other brands but there were always issues and we are family of four with lots of laundry. We haven’t typically chosen LG for appliances but nothing matched these features at this price.
After 4 years, the machine is perfect, no issues. Cleans everything to put in it from small loads to comforters. Once setup, it’s set it and forget it. With the pedestal, we never bend to load or unload. Energy consumption is very low. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this drier almost five years ago and it still works as new! Just had it serviced and the parts had very little wear! After all the loads of laundry, this drier is holding up very well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this dryer for a few years now (past the warranty). The auto dry feature does not work. Not sure if it is because Hawaii has a higher level of humidity or a dry peice of clothing touches the sensor and it turns off the dryer and leaves the majority of the clothes still wet.
The other major issue is the lint screen frame sticks out and catches anything with a string (draw strings, ladies spaghetti straps, etc) then it will start twisting it, catches other clothes and destroys that peice of clothing and other that gets caught in the twisting. It also rolls up clothes in the twisted heap and those clothes are not fully dried. So not only do you get torn clothes but also wet clothes. The force is so great that it actually broke the lint frame twice. I have to order another part and that is taking 3 weeks to come in so my dryer is out of commission for 3 weeks. TERRIBLE DESIGN flaw! The worse part is this week keep happening over and over again.
