Have not purchased a washer in twenty years, just purchased the washer and dryer a week ago and, wow what a difference. These machines are incredibly quiet and efficient, the dryer literally dries our normal load in a quarter of the time as the old dryer. The washer I can honestly say is equally as impressive as the dryer. I was reluctant to purchase a front loader due to the reviews we had read. After researching and, now experiencing the product, I find the front loader is probably the way to go these days, since the regulation of the water quantity one is allowed to use. This washer does a great job, you would never be able to tell the difference in the amount of water used. The steam is also a great feature, do not have use bleach anymore, which is great for those of us that have septic tanks.
The presets are also very efficient, point and start. You can also customize your setting very easy as well. Like I said in the beginning, so far awesome products would highly recommend. But, it has only been a week, I really hope they last.

Love the Steam feature of my new LG Dryer

I absolutely love my new 7.5 cu.ft. L.G. Dryer, especially the Steam features.
Using the steam settings has been so great for removing wrinkles from both newly purchased clothing, and pants and jeans which have become wrinkled during wearing. It also refreshes sweaters and tops.
These steam features have already saved me so much time from getting out my iron to press these items before wearing! Love L.G. appliances

Our old dryer went out and a quick online review pointed us in this direction. We have all LG appliances in the kitchen, so it seemed right to go with a new LG washer and dryer. The controls are not 100% intuitive, but after a time or two it does make sense. Nice range of options for drying. We probably used 3 or 4 of them and the Steam function was not critical to our choice of machines. We just want a good, reliable dryer that doesn't require an advanced degree to operate. This meets those specs.

Amazing dryer!

I bought this dryer on September 9, 2015 but it was out of stock until mid-October. That was okay with me because this is the dryer I really, really wanted and my 15-year old GE was still working. It was finally delivered on October 22nd. When I did the first load the time was set for 55 minutes. I checked on the progress after 45 minutes...the dryer automatically added another 10 minutes because the timer showed 20 minutes...I was amazed! After another load finished the drum was stopped, but the light was on when I went to get my load of sheets and everything was dried. Another thing is the size. I used to do 2 loads for 40 minutes each. Now I put everything in and set the timer for 55 minutes and everything is dried to perfection. LOVE IT!
