My first front loader, and it's just fantastic! Easy to use high-tech controls and displays...quite operation, saves water and really cleans clothes without damaging the fabric. Life is indeed good!

So far this has been a great washer. We upgraded from a basic top loader and the increase in capacity is awesome. Cleans stains out of kids clothes with minimal effort and is very quiet. So far the only complaint is that the child lock feature doesn't prevent children from turning the machine off mid-cycle, it just prevents them from changing the ssettings or starting the load.
Pros: Performance, easy to use

Great washer

This washer has so many features that I have been using it for a month and still learning. I absolutely love the washer. Reads loads accurately and gets the clothes clean. I do wipe it out after using and wipe dry the seal and inbetween the rubber door seal and leave the door open to circulate air through it to aid in drying. I have had no problems with this product.

I have had many washers but this one is so much better. It makes clothes so much cleaner and they are not soaking wet at the end. It saves on dryer time. Easy to use. Love the selection. Great investment. Great value.

Very miserly with California's water, a big plus.
Very fast cycles compared to our old "Energy Efficient" washer.
Our laundry room requires the dryer on the left, washer on the right so the washer door complicates moving clothes from washer to dryer. It only opens from the right side, "not reversible." But since it was my error in researching, the quality, settings, quiet operation and versatility forces me to say "5 star" overall.

My husband kids me that I am washing all the time now that we got this new LG washer and dryer. I do find that I am sorting clothes more, and using the different settings that apply to a color/fabric/handling need. The settings are fast and easy to use. I like the capacity size of the washer/dryer as they are larger than our last set.
The appearance (chrome) is very attractive! Our washer/dryer are in the pantry which is seen from the sitting room and kitchen. There is a black granite counter on top of them. The chrome is so much more pleasing that the last set, which was white.
My one "complaint" is that the signal only plays a short time then shuts the lights and sounds off. It is easy to "forget" to remove the clothes. Our last washer would beep a long time. It was a bit annoying, but hard to ignore. :-)
I can't attest to the long-term quality as we've only had these for 6 weeks. They look like high quality and I believe the LG brand is high quality.

We have a lot of laundry and we have been very happy so far with this washer. Loads wash very quickly and we have not noticed any decrease in cleanliness

This washer has so many settings, you can do almost anything with it. I like that, as I'm a really picky launderer. It has the turbo-wash feature, which speeds the cycle up. It gets the clothes clean and spun out well. I'm liking it, and its huge capacity!
