[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the machine and how quiet it is. LG has lots of great features and washing programs. Major disappointment is the pedestal height. For these large capacity machines the pedestal does not hold a bottle of detergent, bleach, softener or soap taller than 10.5". Seems to be a huge design failure.

I love this washer, but not easy to clean

This is my first front load washer, I love that it automatically decides the load size and all the wonderful features that it offers, the steam especially. The draw backs would be that the cycle length seems to be extremely long sometimes, and that may just be because it is actually shown on the screen vs not knowing before, and you have to wipe the door and seal after every load. Actually doing it isn't a problem and hasn't gotten on my nerves, but the seal is hard to wioe out and always nasty. It has a channel and its not very easy to get in there. Other than that, I have been very pleased and it is fun to watch!

Good washer but don't get white color.

I like lg washers and this is no exception; this is my second set. The washer has nice features and the cycles are shorter than older models. My complaint is that the washer and dryer are different shades of white and when they are next to each other, it looks like they don't match. I contacted support and they had me order a new washer. Same problem. I was then told "that is how they are supposed to be" and offered no solution. They shouldn't be sold as a matching set. Upon researching, I found this an old problem with many complaints. If you want the w/d, I suggest getting a color. I wouldn't purchase this again in spite of the washer's overall good performance. I will try a different company next time.

This LG washer replaces a three year old top loader washer that was really rough on clothes and regularly got off balance and danced across the floor. So far we are very pleased with the quiet operation and how clean the clothes are washed. The features are amazing with all kinds of options. The need to regularly keep the door open to prevent mold or mildew and clean it with the recommended cleaners is a little bit more work but so far is worth it. Really like the musical feature that lets you know when the wash is complete.
