Disappointed

This washer gets great reviews and is recommended by sales people. However, after using it for a week, I am very disappointed in it. First, after having a repairman out, I learned that all LGs make a terrible banging sound with the intake & shut off of the water filling the machine. This is a flaw that cannot be fixed. Also, despite what the manual says, the repairman also told me you cannot turn TurboWash off on the Normal/Cotton cycle. And last but not least, these sit so low to the ground you cannot fit a laundry basket under it and open the door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lg turbo washer

First it takes about three hours to do a load properly. I thought it was supposed to be energy efficient. Second it does not get the all clothes wet so I have to add 1 or 2 pots of water. Third it gets stuck on the spin cycle it says it has 6 minutes to go but half hour later it says the same.

The Washer has all of the features I want, plus. Once I learn about all of them, I can imagine that it would be even better.

Uses less water? No. Uses very little water. My first load was white clothes. When I saw the amount of water in the machine, I was very upset. I did not thing that the clothes would be cleaned. I wanted to shout, when those bright white clothes came out of that washing machine with so little water used. If you pay the water bill, get this machine. You will not believe it. I still don't.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design, disbelief

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this machine recently. It leaks in the rinse cycle any suds in it at all and it will leak in to the floor of your laundry room. Do Not even consider buying this product!!
I am scared to wash because I live in a multi level home and washer is up stairs in laundry room!!!!! Now doing laundry in a laundry mat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this machine for about 18 months. It has worked well and continues to work well. My only concern about it is the extreme water hammer that occurs during the initial phase of the wash cycle. The water hammer has not diminished and my efforts to eliminate it with water hammer reducers have failed. So far it doesn't seem to have damaged my pipes.
