When our wash machine broke I was just going to replace it but after looking into the energy efficiency and features of the new dryers we decided to purchase both. This is a great dryer, very easy to use and the steam feature works great. Absolutely no problems since purchasing it.

Nice to have a dryer that has multiple drying options that are simple to select from the control panel without needing to study the owner's manual. Quality of LG craftsmanship was evident from the first batch of clothes I dried. I'm not certain which of this dryers features does it, but my clothes now come out feeling fluffy instead of wadded. Nice!

Bought all new LG kitchen and laundry appliances due to the excellent reviews in several leading websites and consumer publications. I have yet to regret it! The stainless metal exteriors are a snap to clean, and each device feels solid, well thought out and constructed. For the dryer, it is super quiet compared to my old unit. The steam functionality is something I never realized I needed, but now I can fluff/steam lightly used throws and pillows back to a fresh non chemical smell. Freshing sheets and comforters in the guest room before someone visits saves water, detergent and wear and tear on the fabrics. Along with the turbo mode on the washer, I can wash and dry in less time than it took my old washer to finish its basic cycle alone.

With an all electric home, we need to get the most efficient appliances or pay too much for using them. This is the best in my opinion. Clothes are always dry without using any unnecessary power.

This is the very best dryer I have ever had. Love all the features especially the steam features.
I can't believe how fast my towels and bedding were dried.
I ran the fresh steam function to refresh a blouse I had worn and normally would have handwashed. It came out totally refreshed. Saved a washing.

Installation was a breeze.
Using the cycle selection is also very easy and uncompIicated. I am very pleased with this dryer and can honestly recommend it.

big capacity and works fast

I have had this dryer for a month and a half so far. I did not buy the matching washer, but I bought the LG top load version. They work great together. By the time clothes come out of the washer they are only damp, so the dryer does quick work, finished in about 30 minutes. The lint filter is easy to clean. I am very happy with this purchase so far.
