[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about 2 months ago. Had to convert to side venting though. Wow was that an experience. Needed to vent out the right side no problem right because they have a knock out on that side and I bought the side venting kit. Wrong. The gas line goes through the middle of where the vent pipe would have to go. Had to replace and change to a flex gas line. The dryer mfgs should design so you can vent from either side or back without having to do major changes to the appliance. Once done the dryer worked great.

I've had this dryer fora few years and like the product. However shortly after it was installed the outer window started to crack . I called the lg directly, the vendor I purchased it from and the company i have the warranty from. All said it would not be covered because it is cosmetic. the cracking has gotten so bad now that it has to be replaced . I called LG and Their Dealers all tell me I have to replace the entire door. The door itself costs $279.00 and that does not include installation.needless to say I am very disappointed with the response from LG customer service as well as there district manager.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far we have been very happy about the performance of this product. I was very sad however, once we got it home, to find out that the 'communication' features that this dryer is reported to have don't work with I-phone. I thought i was going to be able to do status checks and maintenance checks using a little wi-fi tech style stuff and it was a big no go. Otherwise,,,works fantastic and I can't complain.

we purchased this dryer about a month ago and so far it has lived up to expectations, from ease of use to efficiency. It takes half the time to dry then our old washer. We have not used all the features yet but the ones we have used have not disappointed. I would recommend this product to a friend

We replaced our old LG gas dryer because we bought a matched washer/dryer set. Our old one is still working like a champ at our daughter's home. The added steam feature is a nice bonus. LG performance and quality along with features make it a bargain for the price compared to other brands that we researched.

It's been a long time since I've had matching washer and dryer. Not only do they look great but they perform well. The machine is user friendly, I love the musical signals and it is efficient. I'd buy it again if I were in the market.
