Great compact Dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this dishwasher for about 2 months and bought it to replace another Frigidaire that last about 20 years. Compared to my old one, this one runs pretty quiet, holds more dishes, and cleans just as well using less than a couple of teaspoons of detergent to clean a load. The shortest cycle (Energy saver) only takes a hour to complete. Dishes come out nice and clean! Unfortunately it only comes with a one year warranty; hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's efficient, I can fit a lot of dishes in it, it washes well, leaves no food residue or spots, and it's reliable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was delighted that so many 18" models were available. Selected the Frigidaire model because the G.E. model was out of production. Only other option was a much more expensive model. Can't figure out why the smaller 18" models have to cost so much more than a full-size 24" model. Anyway, I installed it myself and wish the brass 90-degree input valve came preinstalled. It's on the bottom left side and the water is on the right side. The electrical connection is on the bottom, front right side and my power was on the left exterior side so, naturally, the new electric cord was too short, so used the old cord (it was electrician built and way longer). All the cycle times are WAY TOO LONG ! Maybe this is due to using a smaller, less-powerful motor in order to be energy efficient ? The shortest wash and rinse cycle (Energy Saver) takes an hour and ten minutes (includes heated dry cycle). Does the dishwasher clean well ? Yes, but in all fairness, we rinse off the dishes before we wash them, so I don't know if it will do a good job on dirty dishes. Good enough for our purposes. There are some design issues that other reviewers had mentioned that I agree with: lower rack dips into the dishwasher 50% of the time and doesn't always roll onto the door smoothly - poor design. As an engineer myself, no excuse for this. Bottom rack holds plenty of dishes in front row but back row has odd arrangement of tines that doesn't hold bowls very well. Upper rack is also odd. It holds a small amount of glasses and mugs and center portion holds bowls nicely but is since the dishwasher is about 6" shorter than my old GE washer, the top rack doesn't hold as much AND the tops of the glasses and bowls never get dry even though this dishwasher has a heated dry cycle - have to towel dry the tops and let air dry. The rack design doesn't tilt the glasses/bowls enough for water to run off. Can't tell how long the heated dry cycle runs as it is never mentioned in owners manual. My old GE model had a dial that showed how much longer the cycle had to run. Most dishwashers today have lights and no way to tell how much longer they have to run. Does beep when through. Sorry, Frigidaire, can't recommend this model and would not buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item a couple months ago and like it. After researching compact washers for sometime this was the best product I could find for the price. Easy install.

Extremely quiet dishwasher for our motorhome
on August 8, 2017

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for 7 months and are amazed at how quiet it is. I sit next to it in our motorhome (which is why we bought the 18" size) and if we have a fan running, I don't hear it. We started having issues with glassware and silverware being cloudy a month ago. Even the inside walls became cloudy. We used a vinegar wash cycle to clean the walls. We tracked down the problem to the detergent pods (Cascade) we were using. We switched to FINISH detergent pods, use the High temp cycle and everything is coming out sparkling now. The installation looks very good in our motorhome (see photo) that we live in so the low noise level is very important to us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In order to gain more space in my small NYC kitchen I purchased this model and, so far, am very happy with it. It holds as much as my last washer and is much quieter and, presumably, greener.

Nice Unit

We moved here earlier this year and did a kitchen upgrade. We wanted a better dishwasher then the one we had in our last house. Due to space, we chose this 18" model. It is a nice unit, with a stainless steel inside and quality features. It is much more quiet than the last one too. The only drawback is the size. Not only is it narrower than a standard dishwasher, it is shorter as well. I had to turn adjustment screws almost all the way out to position it under the countertop. The silverware rack is a bit cumbersome to use, but works.
