I installed the release version of windows 8. I love it, Works really great.

What's not to like??? Fast, sleek, W7, SSD and big bright 15" screen. It could use a port or two more, a numeric keypad and a larger optional SSD as I worry the 256GB will fill up. Other than that, it's the BEST UB out there and only 3+ lbs.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, fast!!, did i say fast?!!
Cons: a bit pricey

The thinness and lightness of this model aren't nearly as impressive as the 13" models but that's to be expected considering this model is, well, bigger.
The speed is fantastic.
Processor, Memory, SSD.

The 8GB of memory and 256GB SSD were critical to me.
The screen is ok. Good enough but not as good as the Series 7 tablet I have.
Battery life has been fantastic so far.

The keyboard is taking some getting used to. I keep hitting the touchpad (but I'm getting better).

The best laptop on the planet...

I used to be a Sony Vaio customer for years until I gave Samsung a chance and tried their products and I must say I was very impressed. Samsung S 9 15" is the best laptop out there.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Upgrade or a Downgrade?

I was looking for a laptop to replace my Lenovo W500 and MacBook Air. I needed something quick, a good sized screen and high performance.
So far (2 months in...) still loving it! As the screen is larger this made my MacBook Air a shelftop and my W500 has not been powered on since.
1st world problem - my laptop boots up, logs in and opens Internet Explorer (and all my home pages) before WiFi has finished connecting...
Touchpad is kinda flakey when the system gets warm, change of drivers improved this.
This is a definate upgrade over every other laptop I have used.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: touchpad is "flakey" when the laptop is hot.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This laptop isn't all its cracked up to be and for that price, I'd be better off getting a Macbook Pro.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
