Several years ago, more than 15, Mother purchased and used her Excalibur, after she past, it became mine. Older brother purchased one, this one was for my son. The next one will be a new one for me.

My mom and I purchased this product for my Dad 2 Christmas' ago and he still raves about it. He used to make his own with window screens and has gone through 2 grey Ronco dehydrators. He requests an upgrade now, :)

I purchased this in may of 2015 from a large retailer. I have been wanting to get a Excalibur for sometime. I bought the four tray because I am new to dehydrating. It has been a workhorse all summer long. I have dried everything from mushrooms and tomato's to marshmallows. For a beginner this was a wonderful purchase. Next year I will be buying the 12 tray. Love it!

My wife bought me this model as a Christmas gift last year. The features are nice for the price. You don't have to unplug this dehydrator to turn it off, it has a switch. Also it has a thermostat to set the temperature to dehydrate different things at the right temperature to get uniformed dehydrated items consistently. No need to rotate the shelves because the fan circulates the air inside the unit. I use the things I have dehydrated to make meals for hunting and multi-day backpacking treks. The guys I go with are often jealous of me. My meals usually taste better than the commercially purchased freeze dried stuff you get from the outfitters.
If you want to make meals for similar reasons, it is best to dry the individual parts of the meal and then combine the dried parts into the same container. Just my experience, you might have better results trying to dehydrate chili than I did...

I’ve researched many dehydrators over the year and nothing compares to Excalibur’s products! I’m very excited to keep this as a permanent part of our kitchen tools. Try it. I promise you will never regret it. Amazing quality!,

Been using the 2400 for several weeks now and it’s perfect. Dries our foods exactly how we want them and love being able to dial in the heat especially for lower settings. I would give it 10/10, definitely met/ exceeded my expectations.

I was so happy to find a small dehydrator for my neighbhors figs. for the most part it was fine. the top shelf was a little tight but the figs came out great. It is now apple season and I'm going to try my hand at that. I'm finding that there are a lot of options. Dehydrated spaghetti sauce? I guess its worth a try!

I received the 4 tray model about 15 years ago and make deer jerky with and still going strong had a few issues with it at first but soon figured it out that it probably was my fault, because when I was using it I would put it on at night I would have my wife unplug it while it was running on high and was blowing the fuse so now we turn it down now then unplug it
