I have this wonderful mixer in Buttercup - what a happy color! It makes me smile every time I use it! I have been wanting one of these for YEARS - my mom has one of the original black models. I do a lot of baking, but it gets tiring doing everything the "old fashioned way" (aka by hand). This makes baking breads loads easier. I even bake something just as an excuse to use this mixer. The prospect of being able to make my own pastas is exciting, as I will eventually be getting the ad-ons for it. This mixer seriously speaks for itself.

Overall a good mixer for kneading and blending non-chunky ingredients, but do not give up your hand mixer. It does not blend potatoes well, you will be left with clumps. The attachment for that is not sharp enough.
