I grew up using my parents' kitchen aid stand mixer and loved it. As an adult who bakes a lot, buying one for myself seemed too luxurious and expensive. So I used lame hand mixers and baking took way more time than it should. Let me offer a word of advice to any young adult who bakes/cooks and doesn't own a Kitchen Aid stand mixer: buy one now and you'll use it for life! All the time I wasted mixing by hand was for the birds and my creations come out better with this mixer. I also was able to purchase my favorite color and though I have a tiny kitchen it owns counter space! Don't wait like I did, everyone deserves this excellent machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting one for a long time. I love the ease and the power that it has. It doesn't bough down when kneading dough. I don't have any of the accessories yet, but like to get the pasta maker some day. It's just a little expensive.

I bought this a month or so ago and have been extremely happy with it. It seems to do everything. It mixes meatloaf ingredients easily and thoroughly and I don't have to get all that gunk under my fingernails. Of course its great for bakery goods. Yesterday my husband used the grinder attachment and gave it his highest accolade saying 'this could turn out to be a pretty useful little tool'.
