Very useful but louder then expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted one of these for over 10 years and FINALLY got one! It works like a charm and has been very helpful when making bread. My only complain is that it’s louder than expected and the noise it makes almost makes me a little nervous that it might break? But it’s working at 100% so I think it’s just how the machine sounds normally.

I bought this mixer just a week before Thanksgiving and used it for many of our dinner items and it worked wonderfully. The only drawback to this mixer was that the first thing I made it in was pizza dough. When I took it out of the stainless steel bowl, there were gray specs throughout. Even though it had been thoroughly washed, the dough must have rubbed some of the finish off. I threw it away and made another batch which was fine.

Love my KitchenAid mixer. It is in it's own class, nothing compares! Prior to my purchase, at the request of my neighbor, l borrowed thier Sunbeam 4 qt mixer which slung my oatmeal cookie mix to the side of the bowl where it stayed unmixed. KitchenAid mixer cleans the bowl sides perfectly! Besides cookies l have made several batches of bread from the KitchenAid recipes and the mixer just performs fantastically! Definitely the world's best mixer and a wise investment!

This is my first KitchenAid, a housewarming gift from my family. Wish I had owned one long before now. We bake bread at least once or twice a week now, since it takes the work out of all that kneading. And so easy for whipping up a batch of cookie dough - so much better than the store bought mix stuff.
