When building our home 15 years ago I wanted KitchenAid brand appliances. I chose their cook top, refrigerator, trash compactor, double oven, microwave, and dishwasher as well as their clothes washer and dryer. Being a true KitchenAid fan I also have a number of small appliances and cooking utensils. I have appreciated KitchenAid quality, performance, endurance and elegance for years. I have the handheld mixer however have resisted purchasing the stand mixer for years. I was intimidated by the size/weight and concerned about storage for the same reason. Now that I have it, I cannot believe that I waited so long to get one! The ease of use, the power and the speed are impressive. Any concerns I had about the size/weight are gone forever. My stand mixer sits quite nicely on my counter top and I keep searching for recipes that will allow me to use it. Thank you KitchenAid (Whirlpool) for another outstanding product..
