[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a stand mixer for YEARS and have held out because I only wanted a Kitchenaid. I FINALLY got one for Christmas and have used it every single day since. I use it for everything including grinding & mixing homemade raw dog food. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!

So convenient

I love my Kitchenaid Artisan mixer (5-qt.) it is so convenient. I no longer have to stand in one place using my hand mixer anymore. However, when I used my bowl I noticed some type of black residue in my mixture of sugar and butter. Threw out my mixture started over and washed out the bowl sever times, used some baking soda and lemon juice and I still saw the residue when I re-added my mixture. I would love to have a glass bowl. But those bowls alone are very expensive. Can't use the mixer right now. Outside of that I will give it an 6 out of 10, 3 stars.

I got my kitchen aid stand mixer as a gift this year from my husband. He knows I love to bake and he got tired of constantly buying lousy hand mixers so he decided to get me a mixer of great quality! I love the way my mixer works. My batters and doughs come out perfect every single time! I highly recommend this product.

This is the first time I ever brought a stand mixer and I have to say, it's a GREAT mixer. I've been cooking and baking for several years and now I don't understand why I never brought this sooner. The mixer is well put together and it's a time saver. I made a German Chocolate Cake recently and the mixer mixed the ingredients quicker and my cake came out fabulous. I now understand why professional bakers or chefs use stand mixers and I would highly recommend anyone buy this product!!!
