It has a great design, along with a powerful motor. Made short work of cookie dough I was mixing.

What a great product! I had been using an old top of the line mixer that was probably 30yrs old, before receiving my new Artisan mixer and it's amazing what a difference between the old and the new. My new Artisan mixer has gotten me excited about baking again and I love all the different accessory options available. I'm off to new baking and cooking adventures thanks to KitchenAid.

I purchased my first KitchenAid Artisan Mixer from Bed, Bath, and Beyond within the past several months.
I went back and purchased the meat grinder.
I have to have a gluten free diet. This mixer is fantastic for mixing breads, cakes, cookies, etc. I have ground pork tenderloin and made sausage. I have ground filet mignon to make hamburger. I have ground pork and beef together to make meatloaf. I could not be happier with an appliance.
This mixer has met all advertisement that I have read.
Pros: easy to use
Cons: none
