My husband and boys gave me the kitchen aid for mothers day 2015. I have loved mixing cake batters and find myself making more cakes than usual just so I could use it. Its a pretty piece, easy clean up and fun to use. I would purchace this piece again and plan to purchase other attachments.

After using my mom's old 4.5qt Classic for the first 30 years of my life, I could not ask for a better appliance of my own. The Artisan's motor is perfectly balanced, and I still love the simple convenience of the tilt head. I have yet to use/need the bowl cover, but I can definitely see it being useful at high speeds. And I even recommend the onyx color for the ease of cleaning. Dirt shows surprisingly well on the glossy surface. As a lifetime KitchenAid user, I contend that you will not be disappointed!

I've been wanting a kitchenaid mixer for a long time but didn't want to spend the money. I wish I had gotten one years ago - I just love it! I also bought the ice cream maker attachment (love it also). These mixers are definitely worth their price. It mixes my cake icing so easily, and I also mix my meatloaf with it. I'm looking at the pasta attachments now - I can't wait to try more things!! Don't put off this purchase - it's worth the money!

Been wanting one forever. My teenage daughter is an avid baker and has went through quite a few mixers over time. When I finally had the chance to get a Kitchen Aid, I bit the bullet and went for it. It has performed beyond our expectations and I truly believe that it is so well-made, that it will be something my daughter will still have even after I'm gone. No buyer's remorse here.
