My stand mixer is well made and easy to use. The attachments are easy to install and change. There is plenty of power to get heavy doughs mixed thoroughly.
If I were to buy a stand mixer again, I would definitely buy one with the adjustable bowl base.

I have always wanted a kitchenaid of my own and this Christmas I finally got one. It's exceptionally sturdy and is very versatile in what you can mix. I've made pasta dough, whipped cream, and plenty of sweets in it and can't wait to try it more.
I'd like to get the pasta roller attachment but sadly they're almost as expensive as the machine. That's the only negative I'd say.

At first I did not like this mixer; it was not the same as my Grandma's mixer that was passed down to me by her. I did not like how I couldn't get the spatula in the mixer bowl to stir in the ingredients that were stuck to the side of the bowl. Then I realized there was no need use a spatula because the new bowl and beater design mixes everything together without extra folding in. Now I really like my new mixer and can't wait to pass it down.
