[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of baking cakes, pies, and cookies with a hand mixer, I one day told my mom that I really wished I had a stand mixer to use for Christmas cookies this year. It just happened that was during Macy's Friends & Family Sale, and Macy's had a sale price on the mixer to begin with. Mom said, "Go buy a mixer, and Merry Christmas!" Christmas baking was a breeze this year. I can't believe I waited so long to get a stand mixer, and my beautiful red KitchenAid is the best!!

Things have changed since I got my first stand mixer 35 years ago. This machine is so strong, and mixes all sorts of ingredient combinations together efficiently and thoroughly. I used it for many different recipes, from thick nut butter and seed combinations for energy bars, to shortbread and meringues.

Powerful and Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my Mom's 30+ year old Sunbeam tilt head stand mixer until it began to wear out. My 5 qt Kitchen Aid tilt head stand mixer is so powerful and quiet. It mixed up my Christmas cookies easily. I bought a 3 qt bowl and mixer cover. I'm waiting to receive my metal meat grinder. Can't wait to use it.
